Both of these lithographs were made by the Columbian Colortype Co. Chicago, IL. The Columbian Colortype Company in the early 1900's made high quality lithographic prints. #1) This is an Antique Print of a famous Victorian Styled Child Portrait called "Boy With Rabbit" by Sir Henry Raeburn. The boy was supposedly the little nephew of the artist. There is what appears to be a water spot (fourth picture). #2) “Spring Song” is a painting of a young blind girl sitting on a bench listening to a robin in a birch tree. It was painted by the German artist, Simon Glucklich (German 1863-1943). This lithograph was very popular in the United States during the 1920s and 1930s Both wood frames are roughly 13" x 17". The blue trim is slightly faded, and "Spring Song" has some damage to the wood (last two pictures). Besides the spot on "Boy with Rabbit", the prints appear to be in good shape.
