This is a piece of antique purple slag glass in the jewel pattern . I'm not sure what to call it . It could be a celery vase , just a vase or perhaps a candleholder . The only reason I say candleholder is that in the bottom of the piece on the inside is what appears to be a socket for a candle ( see interior photo ) . If that is the case , I have a pair , as I am listing another one just like it too ( just the slag coloring is different ) .If they are candleholders , then buying both would be advised but I'm listing them seperately . It measures 8 5/8" high x 5 1/4" from front to back x 5 3/8" wide . It is not marked . It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks . Nice old piece of glass being offered with no reserve . High bid pays postage .
