Lynne's Dolls Exquisite , superb quality 16" (11.5" sitting) Kammer & Rheinhardt/Simon & Halbig model 126 baby doll. The head & the complex eye mechanism is in fabulous condition. The 3 eye positions are shown in photos 2 - 4. She has 2 lovely white front teeth & a moving tongue. She is clearly marked at on the back - K */& R Simon & Halbig 126 Germany 42. There is no damage to the head including the blush on her cheeks. Her wig & pate are original - the mohair is probably more sparse than when she was made but there are no bald patches & she displays beautifully without the need for a bonnet. She has the grill in place in her back for the 'mama' sound to come out - it is more of a plaintive squeak than a 'mama' but it works! She is well dressed in hand-knitted cotton socks, red leather shoes tied with ribbons, cotton underwear (vest & 'pilch'). Her little dress has hand-smocking on the front, read more
