This is definately a railroad train lantern. It clearly says so on body and on globe. From the New York, New Hampshire and Hartford Railroad. This came from the grandson of a man who used to work on the local railroad which no longer exists. Has several patent dates ranging from 1903 to 1913. made by "Adlake". Excellent original condition. very little surface rust on interior parts. Unfortunately the original globe is cracked. It is embossed with "N.Y. N.H. & H. R.R.". The crack is in the back and doesnt obstruct the logo. Having trouble uploading the pics and will be adding more later. 17" with handle and 10+" without. TERMS: 5 day, NO RESERVE!
