If you are new to my auctions, I travel to China every few months and bring back to the US a variety of unique antique items. One of the areas I specialize in is antique Chinese eyewear. On each trip to China, I probably see over 1,000 pairs of old Chinese eyeglasses out of which I bring back only the best 50-60 pairs. Condition is important to me as well as my buyers, so I strive to only purchase and resell museum quality antique eyeglasses. You are bidding on a pair of Chinese eyeglasses, circa 1875, with crystal lenses and a very unusual decorated bridge piece, which matches the decorated side-arms. The photos really show everything on this exquisite pair of spectacles. The arms and lenses are a bit loose, but everything is still held together securely. In other words - don't wear them - display them! T are few dealers in the world which specialize in this type of eyewear.
