ANTIQUE ONE HALF GALLON REDWARE CROCK WITH INTERIOR AND PARTIAL EXTERIOR GLAZEThis redware crock was found recently in James City County, Virginia. This old crock holds one half gallon and measures 9'' tall with a diameter of 4-1/8" at the top and 5" at the bottom. The crock features a glazed interior, a partial exterior glaze, a 1/2" deep indented and rolled rim, and visible potter finger grooves.Perhaps the best feature of this old crock is that it is in very good condition with no cracks, hairlines, spider lines, and just surface abrasions to the exterior glaze.A wonderful piece of nineteenth century redware!Note: All crocks are double boxed for safe delivery!THANKS FOR VISITING LANE'S COUNTRY LARK!
