ANTIQUE 1 GALLON REDWARE STONEWARE CROCK WITH LIGHT SALT GLAZEThis sale is for a nice one gallon circa 1900 redware storage crock with a less commonly seen light salt glaze. Found in an estate in southeastern Pennsylvania, it measures 8-1/8" tall with a diameter at the top of 7-3/4" and 5-3/4" at the bottom. It features:an Albany type interior glaze a light salt glaze exterior a 3/4" deep slightly flared and rounded rim potter's finger grooves visible insideThis crock is in very good condition with general wear throughout.A terrific example of a utilitarian piece of 19th century redware pottery!Note: All redware is double boxed for safe shipment!THANKS FOR VISITING LANE'S COUNTRY LARK!
