Antique 19th century Redware pitcher yellow slip decorated recently found at auction in the Philadelphia area. Probably not American, thinner walls than similar Pennsylvania antique pieces, although very similar so remote chance it could be PA. Losses to yellow slip, excess clay in manufacturing, bubbles in clay & glaze showing some age. Chip losses to base and handle. Much roughness to middle exterior as if greatly used. Very nice shape. Top opening approx 2.25". Very nice early Redware piece.Best of luck in bidding.
