See our classified ad in current editions of "Knife World" magazine. Bidders/Collectors: Description: 1 rare antique Remington RH-104 small Bowie hunting knife available. This Remington knife was made sometime between 1933 and 1940. This hard-to-find knife would make a fine addition to any collection. This Remington knife measures 7 7/16" overall. The blade itself measures 3 5/8". The handle on this small Bowie is made of red duremite . See page 239 of Ron Stewart and Roy Ritchie's Remington Knives--Past & Present for reference. The front tang is stamped ' Remington DUPONT RH-104'. The 'DUPONT' stamp is circled. The guard is made of lightweight aluminum. Condition: This hard-to-find vintage Remington knife is in good condition for this model. The blade has carbon staining, and the occasional spot of minor salt and pepper pitting. The blade is nearly full. There are cosmetic finish scratches on the body of the blade. The soft aluminum guard is bent down on one side, and will wiggle a bit. There are three cracks in the red duremite handle. The handle is absolutely tight on the handle.
