ANTIQUE REPRODUCTION BRU 14 GAALA PROCELAIN DOLL This porcelain doll was introduced around 1879-1880 during the “Chevrot Era”. Her head is marked “ Bru J ne 14” on the back and she features a round girl’s face with a more prominent chin region and a well formed nose. This Bru Jne has the classic bèbè face of the third generation Bèbè Bru. This 30” Bru 14 Gaala is costumed in an antique green silk and velvet, with antique lace, feather stitching and wonderful detail, including reproduction antique acorns. She has porcelain lower arms, Hand paperweight glass eyes, mohair wig and velvet hat. Her stockings are hand knit. This porcelain doll is hand painted and costumed by an award winning Doll Artisan Guild Instructor and holder of the Triple Crown of Dollmaking. Becca has personally signed and dated this exquisite doll and making it a wonderful porcelain treasure for your doll collection. While this lovely doll has been in my care, she has been in a smoke-free environment. For layaway, I generally request 25% down with the remainder being paid within four months.
