FRENCH ANTIQUE ARTIST REPRODUCTION DOLLWith PRETTY SATIN DRESS & BONNET Picture this Beautiful Doll displayed in your special antique doll Collection! we have several listings this week for collectible dolls, with more to come in the future. We have a 100% positive feedback rating and a good return policy, also described below. Please . This charming little doll is, we believe, a French reproduction. She is unmarked, except for the signature of the doll artist, "Cecile 1984". We have listed other dolls by the same artist, and all have been antique reproductions. The tag from the previous owner (a collector and seller of dolls) marked her as a "Bru repro".Our lovely doll has a skillfully painted porcelain head and has a composition body, which is jointed at the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees. Her beautiful bisque face is finely made with pale blue glass eyes and multi-stroke eyebrows. She has painted upper and lower lashes and a tiny pale red dot in the corner of each eye. Our girl has softly painted pursed lips and gently blushed cheeks. Her reddish brown wig is labelled "Made in France" and is beautifully set in a Victorian style with long curls which complement her old-fashioned dress just perfectly. Her knee length pink satiny dress is delightful! It is decorated with a wide mesh and lace collar and adorned with flowers near the hem.She wears lace-trimmed bloomers, white stockings and maroon shoes. We want to note that this doll is very loosely strung. Her head is loose as are her arms, especially at the wrist joints. Her legs are loose, as well, and they sometimes turn around the wrong way. She needs to be tightened up. SIZE She measures about 10 inches tall.CONDITION This delightful Doll is in Very Good Gently Displayed Condition, except for her very loose stringing. Her clothing is in excellent shape. Please note: The doll stand is not included in this sale. SHIPPING We can combine shipping with some other items, depending on size and weight.
