Very Collectible ANTIQUE RIVETED SHEET STEEL HOLSTEIN BELL No. 5 Made for COWS, HORSES, SHEEP & GOATS Manufactured by BLUM MFG. CO. 4” High (including the “handle”) with a 3” by 2-1/8” Oval Base This collectible antique bell was made by Blum Manufacturing Co. of Collinsville, IL, which was founded in 1876. This bell was made form sheet steel, cut with a flat pattern and curved and shaped into it’s bell form, and then was riveted together on each side. The handle (or strap holder) was made separately and then attached. The clapper is made of cast iron. The red Holstein paper label is still complete and in excellent condition. ~~~ A MUST-HAVE for your Antique Bell Collection ~~~ Please review the pictures carefully (as they are a very important part of the description) and don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
