Antique Rosa Bonheur Print Horse Fair Ornate Frame 1852 Up for your consideration is this antique print titled The Horse Fair from Famed artist Rosa Bonheur and Published by James Lee of Chicago Illinois. This will only be listed on Ebay this week only and if it does not sale, it will be going to a antique show next week, so get yur bids in early. This beautiful old print is protected behind glass and housed in an absolutely gorgeous old ornate antique frame. I am not sure of the exact age of this old print, but I do know that the original painting was done by Rosa back in 1852. She is widely considered to have been the most famous woman painter of the nineteenth century. This painting is now on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. I did some research on James Lee, but did not have a lot of luck finding out much about him other than he published a lot of prints in the late 1800's through early 1900's. This old print looks to be in very good condition. I find no major flaws of any type on this 16 X 20 inch print and it is protected behind glass. I did not try to remove the old cardboard backing to get a closer look at the print. This lovely old print is surrounded by a gorgeous old wood frame which measures 22 X 26 inches.
