Welcome! This is a beautiful antique jewelry / trinket box, stamped "Made in Austria" on the bottom. It measures 3 3/4" X 3 1/2" and is a total height of 1 1/2" (including the pretty legs). It is lined in thick burgundy velvet. I haven't tried to clean the gold or tapestry, but it's in nice condition even without that, as you can see in the pictures. This was purchased at an antique estate auction in eastern Pennsylvania. We are happy to combine shipping on items where we're able to do so.
