If so, this stunning glazed figurine is a must-have for your collection.Created during the Art Deco period, this vintage Rosenthal figurine depicts a hand-painted mountain goat balancing on a large white ball. T his porcelain goat was designed by the highly regarded sculptor, Joao da Silva, at the axially factory located in Plossberg, Germany. Excellent, preowned condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. On the underside, this breathtaking figurine possesses a green underglaze mark ("ROSENTHAL GERMANY under two roses and a crown) from Philip Rosenthal & Co., which denotes production during the mid-1930's. This piece is also Incised with its mold number, "808."
