ANTIQUE PRETTY ROSEWOOD MOP TEA CADDY LIDS +KEY c1850 A really pretty, small casket shaped tea caddy in very good original condition. The rosewood has a lovely grain and patina and it has a beautiful decoration of mother of pearl roundels (with superior pierced centres) joined by pewter stringing. It still retains the original lids which are unusully decorated to match the exterior - a sign of quality. The hinges and lock are original with a working key and it also has the four original bun feet which set it off so well. There is a small strip of dragooning replaced along one side of the lid, this ties in well. You will struggle to find a prettier Victorian tea caddy in better condition. size: 8 x 5 x 6 1/2 inches aprox d350511
