Albion Antiek Antique Royal Vienna Tazza Porcelain Compote Murillo Dice Throwers This listing is for a stunning and precious antique Royal Vienna porcelain tazza. It is not marked with the blue beehive mark but does have the title of the scene written in the usual way ("Würfelspieler v. Murillo" which is German for "Dice Throwers by Murillo, this pattern was also used by RS Prussia). It is covered in a shiny pearlescent glaze and has beaded borders around the central scene and the 3 smaller cupid vignettes. This tazza measures 5-7/8" across and 3-3/4" high. There is one small chip on the underside edge (see last close-up picture below), but that is not very detracting and there is no other damage: no other chips, no cracks or hairlines and no repair or restoration. There is minimal wear of the gilding. A truly magnificent piece! Please excuse any glares (white patches) that you may see in the pictures, these are caused by reflections of light on the glaze and are not on the actual object itself.
