Description- Offered for auction a lovely Royal Worcester sterling silver rimmed dinner plate in the Watteau pattern, measuring 13 1/8 inches across by 1 1/8 inches tall to rim edge (dinner plate without rim would be 10 1/2 inches). This piece features a transfer decoration of girl in tree swing with young lad as well as having five floral sprays on outer rim (only very minute utensil marks). The sterling rim was made by Hunt Silver Company and has suffered a hard outer rim dent causing some creases, we figure conservatively that the rim is at least three troy ounces .
