Large ANTIQUE c1900 SIGNED "N" with a crown for "Rudolstadt German/Germany-Saxony Ernst Bohne Söhne "Handmalerei" (which means Hand made in Germany) MAJOLICA Teapot with CHILDREN, BIRDS, & FLORALS ( in the Capo di Monte style) accented with DRESDEN FLOWERS, Magnificent Tobacco Leaves,Clouds,Etc.....PLEASE VIEW ALL 22 PHOTOS, THIS PIECE IS TRULY SPECTACULAR & WEIGHS 3 POUNDS!!& IN EXCELLENT CONDITION; NO CHIPS, CRACKS, OR REPAIRSMEASURES: APPROX 10"TALL X 11"ACROSS FROM HANDLE TO SPOUTBASE DIAMETER IS JUST A HAIR UNDER 4 3/4" Rudolstadt (Germany - Saxony) Founded in 1854 Founder(s): Ernst Bohne Söhne Factory of luxury porcelain. Up till 1900 (but also later) an anchor mark (blue) together with the initials 'EBS' (pressmark) was used as factory mark. Afterwards it was replaced by the crowned 'N' mark in blue under glaze.
