Antique Russian 84 Solid Silver Gilt Engrave Decorated Charka or Vodka Cup from Kiev circa 1908 This Antique Russian Charka or Vodka Cup measures approximately 1 1/4 inches or 32 mm across the width or diameter of its upper rim and it stands 1 5/8 inches or 41 mm tall to the top of its rim. The cup is made from solid silver in a circular shape with slightly tapering sides and it has been completely gilded or gold plated, it has an externally rolled upper rim and it stands on a flat circular base, the outer body has been delightfully engrave decorated with stylized foliage either side of a shaped cartouche and it has Not been engraved with a previous owners initials or family monogram, the underside of the body has been impressed with the unknown Kiev silversmith or makers mark that is recorded as being used from 1892 to 1908 along with a Russian 84 standard solid silver Kokoshnik mark that includes the Kiev town or assay office mark that was used from 1908 all as photographed below, I estimate that this Charka or cup was made circa 1908. This Charka or Vodka Cup is guaranteed as a Genuine Antique and it is NOT a modern copy. The condition is used and Excellent for its age. The Charka or Cup has No Large Dents, No Holes, No Splits, No Cracks and No Repairs that I can find, the cup stands straight, the decoration is very crisp, read more
