Antique Russian Samovar Brass + Tray + Bowl & Teapot Up for auction is a beautiful vintage brass Russian samovar in excellent condition with tray, bowl and tea pot included. This was purchased many years ago at the Ye Old Curiosity Shop located on the water front in Seattle Washington. The Samovar stands approx 20" including the tea pot. It has been kept well and packed away for many years. Not knowing how to clean it well and mess with the patination, I have left it as is. The most obvious flaw I would say is some spotting that looks like dried moisture spots. You can see what I'm talking about in the pictures. There are some tiny little dings that I think to be part of the natural character of the brass. The handles are wood. I cannot make out the stamps and what their significance is but perhaps you can tell by the pictures. An attractive piece for any collector ! You'll be pleased!
