Antique Russian White & Green Jade Vase w Sterling Lizard w Topaz eyesThis is an antique Russian jade Vase with a sterling silver lizard with topaz eyes. The sterling silver lizard is very well crafted with great detail and skill, The eyes are set with topaz, and the bottom right foot bears a SW Stephen Wäkevä hallmark. The brush pot is carved from excellent jade, a very evenly colored white jade base and a spinach jade top with veins of red russet coloring. The inside of the jade cylinder is very pretty when light shines through it you can see all the different colors in the jade. The piece is in great condition as shown in the photos. Measures 4 3/4" tall, 2" wide at the base, 1 1/2" wide at the top. The area measures 3 3/4" tall, and 1 1/8" wide. The lizard measures 2 3/4" tall, and about 1 1/2" wide.
