A really nice presentable set/group or instant collection of antique "BOVRIL" bottles. having all the character and feel of bottles blown in the period of the Victorian art of glass making. blown in an honey amber coloured glass of the period into a two part mold and finished off with atooledlip to its neck.. blown in a variation of really nice honey amber coloured glass. Bottles show all the signs of the period within the quality ( was there any) small crude imperfections within the glass,air seed bubbles,stretch marks in the glass and a finishing to its life usually due to being hand packed and stacked by young children of the period that was the dark dreary Victorian era.. dates to the 1888's/1899 period of Victorian England. Rd.No:100848 taken out in the London Patent office in 1888. standing at 3 inches in height & approx 2 inches these small ones were sold as sample examples of the Bovril product .thes are some of the very desirable and much sought after collectable Victorian meat extract bottles.much collected the world over...
