This sampler was stitched by Anne Harrison in 1830 -- it was the first sampler I purchased and reproduced. The fourth picture you will see is my reproduction of the sampler! The sampler is 17 by 20 inches, approximately, and although there is loss to the wool threads, the ground fabric is in good shape. A few things I really like about this sampler are the windmill (of course), the big brick house, and the border, which features alternating colored flowers. The sampler you are bidding on is the antique ORIGINAL sampler. You will not receive my recreation of the piece. I will, however, send you a graph with your sampler, so you can read more about the sampler and see how it was constructed.
