Description Pretty Young Lady and Donkey Figurine, produced in the 19th Century by Samson Porcelain from France. Hand painted in fine tonal detail and finished in a gloss glaze. Further embellished with flower encrustations within the baskets on the donkey's back. Marked, under the base, with the makers cobalt blue marks, please view additional photographs below. The flower in the lady's hand and a few of the flowers in the baskets have small chips to them (photographed below) beak, handle of the cage, and left hand of the figure, have been chipped and are missing (photographed below). Otherwise, she is in very good condition with no other chips, cracks or restoration. The figurine measures approximately 5½" in height.
