The coatings on these insulator have superior heat and scratch resistances. These glass colorant also has superior chemical resistances. They can withstand the heat from ANY light bulb. You can literally boil these in water and the finish will be perfect; we boiled one for over an hour; Still Perfect. We also drill holes for pendant lights before coloring; just let us know.This Armstrong's T.S. insulator is approximately 4" x 2 5/8" . The skirt is in excellent condition with Armstrong's T.S. embossed on one side and Made in the U.S.A. on the other.
