ANTIQUE SAVONAROLA DANTE SCISSOR CHAIR WITH INLAY. This is a terrific piece. The inlay may bone. Possibly 19th century. As you can see close up in the photos, there are some repairs and some minor cracks which are not really that visible when you just look at the chair. I have not removed this upholstery to see what is underneath. The chair was designed to be foldable when you remove the seat cushion. Many of these chairs are only in museums. This one has been altered a bit with the hard seat and back but still an amazing conversation pieceIt is a sturdy piece and usable. This can be picked up in Pawling NY 12654. Thank you!
