ANTIQUE SCHOENAU HOFFMEISTER 1902 GERMAN JOINTED DOLL This auction is for an antique doll that is marked on the back of the head with S Star logo with PB inside and H on the end (see picture in the listing). I did a little research and it looks like this is by Schoenau Hoffmeister. The head is also marked with 1902 or 1909 and then a number 2 followed by Germany at the bottom which didn't come out in the picture. I don't see any eyes inside this doll. The doll is jointed and it looks like its wood with something over top. The head looks like procelain. The one foot is marked with 2476 and she measures about 18" long. I just got back from a local estate sale w they had a bunch of dolls. They were going for a good price so I picked up a few for Ebay. Please note that I don't know anything about dolls and my wife says that some of them look spooky so I know that they are older. So...please ask questions if you have any.
