SEALED Bottle of" Marie Brizard Creme De Cacao-Chouao a La Vanille" Made in France. Bordeaux Made in the Bordeaux region of France this rare sealed bottle has an intact seal over the top of the bottle. The Marie Brizard company was founded in 1755 and is renowned throughout the world for its tradition of quality wines, and is one of the world's most venerable producers of liqueurs and drinks. The bottle is a deep green and has no chips or cracks. The paper tax seal across the top is intact but has a small tear at the edge as seen in the photos. According to our research this bottle dates to around 1925 and probably earlier. The label reads as above , not as creme de cacao as later bottles are labeled.The paper label over the top reads "republica de cuba" and a "15 centavos " tax was assessed. Registry no. 01532669 is on the paper label as well. The contents of the bottle are full up to just below the paper cuba tax label..
