Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantel Clock Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Up for auction is a nice clean early Seth Thomas Adamantine clock circa 1900. Clock measures 16 1/2 by 11 1/4 inches wide. Movement is the older hip movement used the the earliest Adamantine clocks. Case has 2 ornament pillars with lion heads on both ends of the clock. Dial is brass with painted numbers. Hands are original spade type. Movement has been taken apart and cleaned with a ultrasonic cleaner, all parts are then hand cleaned and pivots are polished. Movement is reassembled to check for pivot wear and worn pivots are replaced. After reassembly clock is oiled and tested on a stand and then inserted back into the clock and tested further. 8 day movement with Catherdal gong strikes the hour and half hour and keeps good time. Clock case has a couple wear spots on top with little wear else where . PA residents please add 6% sales tax. We ship USPS Priority Mail and also USPS ground if there is a savings to the customer. Payment must be received within 5 days or item will be relisted. We do not post a set dollar amount for shipping like some ebay sellers because we feel that is unfair to buyers close to our location.
