is a recent historic New England Estate find. This is a Rare SETH THOMAS Crystal Regulator Brass Mantel Clock with Mercury Pendulum. This Rare Clock runs great and keeps excellent time. The Brass Case has a nice aged Patina and should polish up nicely. All 4 sides are heavy Beveled Glass. The front and rear doors both open to wind from the front and access the movement from the rear. This is an Absolute Beauty, see pictures! This is a top of the line Mantel Clock from the Seth Thomas Clock Company and has all these incredible features. This has a Brass case with Bevelled Glass Sides, Mercury Pendulum, Metal Dial, Eight Day movement and Coil Spring Gong Chime. I have sold many Clocks and this is one runs strong and keeps Great time, The Coil Spring Gong Chime works correctly and strikes the correct amount of times on the hour, and once on the half hour. This measures approx. 9 1/2" high, 6 3/4" wide and 5 1/2" deep and weighs approx. 9 pounds. The front dial face is marked "Seth Thomas Made In USA." The Brass movement is super clean and marked with the "ST USA" trademark logo, and "485". This has the Original Pendulum and Key too.
