You are bidding on an Antique Seth Thomas Westminster Chime Mantel Clock. This old Clock was found in the Attic when we cleaned out the house. I know nothing about clocks. After doing some research on e-bay items, I belive this is an original Seth Thomas Mantel Clock. It is marked "Made BY SETH THOMAS IN U.S.A." at the lower part of the dial face. It measures 22 & 1/2" long, 10" high, and 7" wide, I think it is Satin Mahogany, it has a convex, bubble Crystal. It chimes at the quarter hour, it has a key slot on the rim of the dial to turn the chimes off or on, it has a key slot on the dial to I think adjust the chimes. It runs/works/chimes/and keeps time, Although it ran about 10 minutes slow, I did not attempt to adjust the clock, I would not begin to know how. I did not try to clean the clock, I would be afraid to damage the surface, all I did was dut it. I'm sure it needs a good cleaning by an experienced clock repairman. I have no idea how to ship this item or what to charge for shipping, so I will charge a flat rate of $30.00 for shipping. I will package the item well and place the necessary shipping insurance on the item, I will pay for the shipping insurance on this item. T is no rerserve.
