This sewing box is very old --I don't have the history for it except that it belonged to my mother-in-law and we discovered it packed away. The box measures 8 inches long, 5 and 1/2 inches wide and 3 and 1/2 inches deep and is not in good condition. T are several chips out of the wood in the back.The design inside looks Victorian to me and is quite nice. The top shelf (?) lifts out and t is storage underneath. Lots of goodies, including 16 old thimbles and 2 old thread holders Email with any questions and thanks for looking!
