Up for sale is this authentic, original Shaker, oval pantry box. This box is in excellent condition. The lid fits very snugly. Nice warm patina in it's original natural finish. It dates to from middle to early third quarter of the 1800's. It measures 9 inches long, 6 1/8 inches wide, and 3 1/2 inches tall. It does not have any loss, splits, repairs or missing tacks. All tacks and pegs are intact. The inside of the lid has a glued paper four stanza hymn, "Asleep In Jesus". Guaranteed authentic Shaker! Good luck.
