Antique Sherwin & Cotton Tile of Abraham Lincoln A molded tile depicting Abraham Lincoln, glazed brown, reads above the image: ABRAHAM LINCOLN Born 12th Feby 1809 and is marked on the reverse: "In Commemoration of the One Hundredth Anniversary Celebration of the Birth of Abraham Lincoln February 12th 1909. Modelled from the only untouched negative in the United States Taken 1864. Made by Sherwin & Cotton, Eastwood Tile Works, Hanley Staffordshire" The tile is signed with logo lower right and measures 9" X 6 1/2" approx. It is framed and under glass.
