Wonderful and elegant antique creamer by Hermann Ohme factory in the Silesia Clairon mold, Old Ivory pattern #XII - pink and cream rose. It is marked on the base with the brown Silesia "Clairon" logo, and in red Old Ivory XII. It is in excellent undamaged condition with a little wear with minimal to non signs of wear. The creamer features lovely hand painted roses, elaborate mold, gilded rim (gild has light wear)Old Ivory and Ohme china are beautiful porcelains produced by the Porcelain Manufactory Hermann Ohme between 1882 and 1928. The factory was located in Niedersalzbrunn, Silesia, Germany (now the town of Walbrzych in Western Poland).The Ohme factory produced two major types of porcelain, which are generally referred to as clear glaze and Old Ivory porcelains creamer . The Old Ivory line is clearly distinguishable by its additional delicate ivory colored matte glaze. The Old Ivory pieces were frequently marked as Old Ivory, and given pattern numbers.Ohme porcelain is collectible and more info can be found on the Society of Old Ivory and Ohme Porcelain.This creamer is in the pattern XII that is particullary harder to find. The porcelein is very thin resembles of an eggshell. This creamer measures 4.25" tall.
