This is a genuine antique, remarkably well preserved parlor lamp shade. It has retained most all of the original glass bead work, that has a floral and arched pattern. The wire arched framework covered in a Dusty Rose or Old Rose silk fabric with shirred panels and embroidered panels with a brocade appearance. There is also a pale pink or flesh colored silk lining. The shade Measures 14" wide x 7-½" deep, measuring across the wire frame at the widest parts. The frame alone is 8¼" tall. The wire frame is sturdy with no breaks. I'm assuming the colors of the fabric have faded and or darkened over time from exposure to dust and the elements. There read more
