The collector of these buttons passed away and her son was kind enough to allow me to buy the entire collection. She was a prolific collector, she collected early picture buttons, wood back, glass, unusual pearl and shell (many tinted), deco bakelite, lucite, and celluloid. every size, and most are layered.
