ANTIQUE SILVER MOTHER OF PEARL INTAGLIO CAMEO RING 13 I am offering you this gorgeous antique sterling silver (stamped) Victorian style large rectangular genuine mother of pearl intaglio cameo ring . These Victorian rings are very rare and hard to find. The intaglio depicts a right facing figure, probably a roman figure / soldier carved into a large mother of pearl stone, this is a very unique intaglio cameo that has a double right facing carved figural..... very cool.... i have never seen one like this before ........ giving this ring such a dimensional look.... almost a shadow effect... though it is not a Shadow it is real and very raised !! WOW, what a fabulous unique ring this is........ I have NEVER sold an intaglio ring with this depth and uniqueness to it..... what a keeper this is !!! This ring is very luminous with every move of the stone . The detail to this carving has such depth and intensity to it, really much more like a spectacular painting.... you really must see it in person to appreciate the artistry that went into making it. The mount is a very heavy and ornate, this level of detail is very rare to see, having a very detailed multi leveled art deco / Victorian design work and very clean, straight smooth lines to it, around the entire diameter of this wonderful rectangular setting and extra wide ring band .....
