///////OOO/////// Antique Silver Plated Twin Inkwell & Stand This is a classic and beautiful silver plated twin inkwell set and stand. The stand itself sits on four bun feet, with two pen troughs and square wells for the ink pots - the centre has a horse shoe handle. It is stamped to the bottom JB SL in a crescent and EPNS. The middle of the crescent has rubbed off and I believe it should read JBC & SLd which would be the makers mark for JOHN BISHOP CHATTERLEYJ.B. CHATTERLEY & SONS LTDBirmingham John Bishop Chatterley active from c. 1880 (later J.B. Chatterley & Sons Ltd until at least 1936) at Albert Works, New Town Rw and Pitsford St, Birmingham. Another known address is 87 Hatton Garden, London in the 1880s I t is, as far as I can see, in very good condition with no visible scratches, dints or rubbing. The pots are square and once again have no visible scratches or chips and the lids are fully functional. Please see pictures. It measures approximately 21cm wide x 15cm deep x 15 high to top of the handle. All our old and vintage items are in used condition and may not be perfect.
