Hi!!! What we have up for auction today is a rare flatware set, reinforced silver by Roger and Brother. It comes complete with tarnish resistant solid hardwood chest, tested and approved by the laboratory of Interntional Silver Company. T is a plate in the back of the box which reads "*Rogers and Bro. Reinforced Plate, Original Rogers Silverplate, Made and guaranteed by The International Silver Company, Meridian, Conn." The inside of the box is with red felt and the top inside of the box has silver lurex. It is really quite lovely. It is padded on the bottom to prevent scratches and the top of the box does have some scratches. It definitely has patina. The box alone on Ebay usually sells at the very lowest for $20. The silverware itself is in really good condition from being stowed in this box unopened since circa 1960. I have searched for the pattern name, unable to find it, tby making it a rare item. T are fowers all up and down the handles and this is a pretty set. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Also, please include $14.95 for shipping.
