This is an antique set STERLING SILVER sugar spoon and butter knife made by SIMPSON, HALL, MILLER & CO. of Wallingford, Ct. circa 1900. BUTTER KNIFE is approximately 7 1/4" long and weighs approximately 46.2 grams. The spoon is approximately 6 1/2'' long and weighs 52.6 grams. Both engraved, they are marked on the back STERLING with a silver hallmark for SIMPSON, HALL, MILLER & CO. (Knight's helmet with S, see close-up photos). Made circa 1900. It is in overall very good, used condition, with some minor surface scratches and tarnish to be expected from age and use. Photos taken with and without flash.
