Antique SITZENDORF German Porcelain Cherub Urn Vase NR Please do not bid with out first getting a shipping quote: see details below. DESCRIPTION THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION ~ You are bidding on an Antique Porcelain Figural Urn Vase Compote. This is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and is an original antique that dates back to the 1800s that was made and marked by Sitzendorf who made some of the HIGHEST quality Porcelain the market had to offer during the time period. This piece was beautifully shaped with reticulated trim work with open slots around the bottom and a beautifully winged Cherub at the bottom of the base. The top has twin handles that are beautifully scrolled with gilded accent trim throughout and beautiful ahdn painted flowers. This was beautifully done with great depth and dimension to the detail from the cherubs facial features and expressions down to the beautiful detail and designs with floral garlands that wrap around the front and back of the piece. Please keep in mind this is an antique that came from a private estate and has some chips around the flower pedals with some wear and imperfections consistant with its age and is all original. This piece was BEAUTIFULLLY made with quality and craftmanship that is no longer found today. Because of its size this is a BEAUTIFUL accent piece that can be used in a Halllway or Foyer, Dining Room, Living Room, Bedroom or Boudior, Study or Parlor or in a guest room and anyw else throughout your home that I PROMISE will be a topic of conversation and is an heirloom quality piece with its original markings. This was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses anything made today but please keep in mind this is an antique and has minor imperfections consistant with its age and stated and shown in the photos and overall is in excellent shape.
