This little truck has no identifying mark, so I don't know who made it. It is small - 4 1/2" long, 1 1/2" high, and 1 1/2" wide. I had this toy as a young child (I am in my mid 80's now). I wound it too tight, breaking the spring. My father, Mr Fixit, said that it couldn't be fixed. I was 9 or 10 years old and heartbroken, but decided that I could fix it. I proceeded to dismantle it, got the spring out, worked on it, put it back together. Ever since that time I have wound it very gingerly. The front axle has 4 different positions - forward and aft.The right side forward, left side back for left turns. The left side forward, right side aft for right turns.It has wooden wheels, could use a little WD-40.The toy has been played with, so the paint is scratched and rusty - could use a Simonize job!Lucky that I have the original key.
