A couple of months ago I sold a tray similar to this but with some damage on it. I planned to keep this one for was myself, but mamma says sell everything I can so this one is going to go too I guess. I have no more - this is it. This sturdy old metal tray measures 17 1/2 X 11 1/2 and has some heft to it from the days when things were made in America. The maker was Parker - Brawner Company of Washington DC and it is # 2927. The rims have a very attractive fancy gold leave type design. Advertising logo says to EAT PolarSweets Ice Cream. This tray is not from a warehouse find of dozens of them - this was a real fountain working tray and has some honest wear, but still it is in nice condition as you can see in the scans w you see the black paint has a few little scratches and t, but no deep stains, no rust, no distracting nasty stuff that I can see. My guess is that it is 1920s - 30s era. I did not photo the back - can email photo if you want - most of it is shiney gold like the gold leaf. They aren't making these anymore. Bid accordingly. NO RESERVE !!!!
