Antique Southington Silver Plated Cream and Sugar Set FOR SALE is an antique quadruple plate cream and sugar manufactured by Southington Plate Company in the late 1800s. Southington was a trade name for Barbour Silver Company, which was part of International Silver Company. The pieces are 4 inches tall and apx 5 to 6 inches wide with handles. The rim has a beaded design. The creamer has an ornate design on both sides, the sugar bowl doesn't. They both have the same same number stamped on the bottom. The bottom is marked "Southington C. Co., Quadruple Plate, #163." This item is in very good condition for it's age, the sugar bown has a small dent on the bottom, not visible. This item has not been polished.
