is a nice big old spear point Bowie knife ...harp on both edges. It has a thick 1/4" x 12 1/2" x 1 3/4" blade. The blade has many knicks and light pitting . Looks like a walnut handle. It is penned with steel. 17" overall . Very solid and estimeted to date to around the Civil War .. Came from a Santa Fe estate... . . .I sell my listings WITHOUT A RESERVE , and NO returns. Study the pictures before bidding, and ask question if you are unclear about anything. We described things as best we can but we are not experts in every field.
