For auction is an antique Stanley #81 Nickel Scraper Plane with rosewood sole. Condition is good, rosewood sole has a little chip off the corner, otherwise sole is flat as I checked it with my straightedge. The nickel is worn in areas, the pics show. Screws work fine, needs a new blade and may I suggest Ron Hock blades or the old "use it up and make it do" choice would be recycled saw blades that you may have lying around. You can get a burnisher to make the hook on the end of the blade and soon enough you will be producing some great finishes on wood using this versatile tool for tough grain and figured wood. and enjoy my other items this week!
