Introducing A very nice light pine and oak Steamer Trunk Fits perfectly with todays light wood and oak decore settings It has been Professionally refinished by us. She's a nice simple steamer trunk from around 1890. This trunk has real nice clean pine and great oak slats' Really shows the beauty of the wood in clear satin finishes! Very clean good size trunk. Great for blankets and such. The top is pretty flat Both making it a functional and elegant storage piece. Very beautiful wood indeed. It has the original lid stay to hold the top open and has floor pads on the bottom. I kept the 'original' color in the wood. The banding metals were stripped treated with satin black enamel. I did the Yale & Towne lock and draw bolts in Brass finishes. Works and has key! T are 2 strong hinge straps on the back and she opens and closes like new. The inside was Stripped and sealed with 2 coats of satin sealer. The print was in t I'd say it was from the 30's or so by the looks of it. It's a fishing/hunting scene' looks nice so I left it. Trunks are unique and the chances of another exactly like the one you wanted may not be seen for a long time. Size 36"L X
