HARD TO FIND Set of 6 Double Struck KnowlesTable Forks Lexington Pattern High Quality Sterling Silver Stamped with earlier Standing Lion Passant circa late 1800's Estate Auction Purchase Up for Auction: Set of Six Sterling Silver Table Forks Hallmarked and Stamped with the Knowles Standing Lion Passant and stamped Sterling - late 1800's - NO RESERVE! If you have any questions about this item - please ask before bidding. Description: These Weighty Silver forks are in Very Good Plus condition. Each is 7" long (17.5 cm). Together they weigh approx. 10.6 ounces (approx. 9.66 troy ounces) . T are some signs of wear, such as small scratches and tiny nicks. One fork has a tiny gouge on the back of the handle (see photo). The prongs are straight and even, they have some wear see photos). These beautiful forks are double struck and made of high quality silver (see photos). This medallion & bead pattern is hard to locate. The backs have detailed scrollwork (see photo) . They are monogammed with an "S" or it could just be a design (not positive). Please refer to photos!
